The Arthur Rackham Fairy Book A book of Old Favorites with new Illustrations
Written by Arthur Rackham and originally published in 1933. This copy was published in 1946
This collection of fairy tales, originally published in 1933, contains 23 tales, with an introduction by Arthur Rackham himself. The tales are from their purest sources; eight of the illustrations are in color, with many more in monotone. Rackham had the gift of deeply connecting with the archetypal images he depicted. His illustrations are almost startling in their intensity.
Hardcovered but there are some spine conditions as shown in the photos. No loose pages.
